Rules of writing Script:

  1. Understanding of the brand on following parameters:

    1. B2B vs B2C vs Institutional

      1. B2B: We are targeting resellers/traders/wholesalers who will purchase products from us and resell it further.

      2. B2C/D2C: We are directly communicating with the end consumer. Here we can have 2 types again:

        1. Direct pitch

        2. Emotional messaging / Indirect pitch

      3. Institutional: Here we are targeting large scale organizations who can be our consumers.

        1. Direct pitch (preferred for institutional)

        2. Emotional messaging / Indirect pitch

    2. Language: English / Hindi / Vernacular / Foreign

  2. Recipe of the script:

    1. AIDA framework

      1. Attention grabbing title on cover/thumbnail

      2. Attention grabbing hook in the start of the video with a prompt to watch the video till end/ watch the full video to know more or similar

      3. Interest & Desire

        1. Build Interest & Desire by giving insightful information in correlation with the starting hook.

        2. You must use interesting statistics to build interest and desire.

      4. Action - Conclusion with a call to action

        1. Conclude with the ask of follow on Instagram and subscribe our YouTube Channel / submit your details / contact us to Generate lead as required for the video

        2. End with a nice catchy line pertaining to the brand

        3. Prefer having a common theme by having common lines spoken at the end or some other way to build a connection across various videos of the brand.

  3. Heading 1 – To be used for the Tracking Code and brief description of the video.

  4. Tracking Code Nomenclature:

    1. Scripting Month (2 digits) | Brand Name | Type: L/P L = Landscape P = Portrait | Serial Number (2 digits)

    2. Example when you are writing in April 2023: 04-BRAND-P-01

  5. Color Marking on the Heading:

    1. Blue Marked on the Heading will mean it is approved for Shooting.

    2. Red = Disapproved

    3. Yellow = Under review / changes

  6. Any shooting/editing related remark will be given in [brackets] before the scene’s script. It will be marked yellow to highlight it to the anchor/videographer/editor.

  7. Important words which need to be highlighted on the Video will be Bold.

  8. After every script ends, please give a Page Break so that the new script starts on a new page.

  9. There should be a Title/Cover/Thumbnail Text at the start of the script.

  10. The main text to be spoken can be started under the sub-title of Script.

  11. To the Editor: Please do not place any text which overlaps with the icons, buttons, username or any other text of Instagram / relevant platform.

  12. This is a template for reference. Please change the brand name / topics as is.

  13. Make sure to make a copy and rename the file with the relevant name.

  14. Month Script Book - Name of Client - Monkey Studios

    1. Month name to be taken as per the month when the script is being written.
